Swiss colostrum – the first milk

What is colostrum?

Swiss food law defines colostrum as follows:

“Colostrum is the secretion produced by the mammary glands of milk-producing mammals under Article 2 letter a for up to five days after giving birth, which is rich in antibodies and minerals and which precedes the production of raw milk.”

What is in our colostrum?

Origin and processing

  • Colostrum from Swiss cows
  • Calf first: the calf drinks first, and only then is surplus colostrum collected
  • Gently processed: decaseinated and filtered in several stages, cold and below 40 °C

Contains Colostrum & Probiotics: Swiss colostrum with at least 60 % IgG, combined with probiotic cultures – transparently tested.
