Curcuma Longa – Innovative Micelle Technology for Maximum Bioavailability

Curcuma Longa is rich in curcuminoids, which are known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. To ensure these active ingredients are optimally absorbed by the body, we use a patented Swiss micelle technology: the lipophilic curcuminoids are encapsulated in microscopically small micelles. This encapsulation makes them water-soluble, protects them from stomach acid, and enables up to 185 times higher bioavailability compared to conventional turmeric preparations.

The formula is complemented by selenium, an essential trace element that protects cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the normal function of the immune system. The combination of curcumin and selenium thus provides targeted protection at the cellular level and supports the natural balance of the body's own inflammatory processes.

Why Curcuma Longa is Beneficial

Our micelle products are manufactured using a patented Swiss micelle technology that significantly improves the bioavailability of both fat-soluble and water-soluble active ingredients. In this process, active substances such as curcuminoids or fat-soluble vitamins are embedded in microscopically small micelles. These stable, water-soluble structures protect the sensitive molecules from stomach acid and enable up to 185 times higher absorption compared to conventional preparations.

Thanks to this technology, the active ingredients efficiently enter the bloodstream and can fully unfold their physiological effects there.

In our independent manufacturing facility, we develop and produce our The Change® products in Switzerland – adhering to the highest quality, safety, and sustainability standards. Manufacturing takes place at our facility in St. Gallen, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Swissness Ordinance, the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP, as well as under organic certification. We produce our own raw materials, such as our colostrum, which we source together with our network of farming suppliers and process using a self-developed proprietary method into a unique preparation. We value short supply routes, close collaboration with Swiss, and in a few exceptional cases European, raw material suppliers, as well as resource-conserving, energy-efficient production. All production steps are carefully monitored to ensure full transparency, traceability, and uncompromising quality.

RECOMMENDED INTAKE

Take 2 × 1 ml daily (1 dropper = 1 ml, see marking) in a glass of water. In the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening shortly before going to bed.

The specified recommended daily consumption amount should not be exceeded. During pregnancy or while breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before starting consumption.

After opening, store in the refrigerator and use within 45 days. Shake before use! Caution: Concentrate stains strongly.

Our zero-waste approach begins with high-quality violet glass, which reliably protects light-sensitive vitamins, minerals and the bioactive ingredients in colostrum from UVA and UVB radiation and is fully recyclable. Our Refill pouch as well as the Bags for powdered products and porridges are made from recyclable materials and can be returned to the material loop through standard plastic recycling.

For reasons of product safety, shelf life and consistent quality, we deliberately use recyclable materials for our Bags. Compared with compostable alternatives, these offer significantly higher protection against moisture, oxygen and mechanical stress while enabling reliable return via established plastic recycling.

Our product cartons are Cradle to Cradle certified and therefore 100% – including inks – recyclable and fully circular. Our shipping cartons and tissue paper are also fully recyclable and integrate seamlessly into our zero-waste overall concept. All materials comply with food law requirements and meet the highest standards for odor and gas barriers. All packaging, containers and packaging materials are manufactured in Switzerland and, in exceptional cases, in the EU.
